FT Island officially started their 3rd album promotional activities on SBS Inkigayo on 19th July.
This episode of Inkigayo had a special meaning to vocal, Lee Hongki, as it was his last time hosting this programme and at the same time it was also FT Island’s first comeback performance for their 3rd album.
On this day right after the programme, FT Island had a fanmeeting with about 1,000 fans near the broadcast station. Lee Hongki expressed his gratitude to the many fans who were unable to attend the event as well. Fans also gave their well-wishes to Lee Hongki who ended his programme hosting and also wished for the success of their 3rd album.
Lee Hongki expressed that, he met many nice people through the Inkigayo programme. He also thanked his two other emcee partners, Eun Jiwon and Yoo Seola.
FT Island showcased two songs on the programme, “Barae (I Hope)” and “Marry Me“. Lee Hongki displayed his matured vocals; Lee Jaejin showing off his cute hairstyle and together with Song Seunghyun, both performed a catchy rap on stage, winning the cheers of many fans. The members also enjoyed doing the “Left-Right” dance during the performance of “Barae (I Hope)”.
During the fanmeeting, the 5 members shared with fans some thoughts about their 3rd album as well as presenting their own favourite songs. They also had small events with the fans, like taking selca (= self-camera) together, giving away presents, etc to thank the fans who came early in the morning to support them.
